I'm On A New Level (Cue A$AP Ferg's Song New Level)
It feels like once I decided and committed to connecting to the higher power, things have been falling into place. I think the hardest part was deciding to go for it in the face of uncertainty. Many times we want to be sure something will work out before trying it. Now that I think about it and reflect on it, that's just not how it works. That's not how any of this works.
It's like wanting to be sure the basketball will go in the hoop before shooting it. Sometimes and more often that not (for me at least) we're going to miss the shot. But if we let that fear stop us from even attempting, we're guaranteeing we won't score. You have to take the Shot. TAKE THE SHAAAA! (Cure Alec Baldwin's SNL skit)
Lin Manuel Miranda via Hamilton said "I am not throwing away my shot." But you still have to shoot it. Don't think, just do it. Then, you instead of saying i'm just gonna do it, you can actually say "I Just Did It."
